My day in photos

Today was one of those get-things-done days. Not necessarily exciting, but productive:

I did a 7:00 a.m. rowing class.

I rocked the vote.

I got two heart rate monitors with dead batteries re-energized.

I tackled my messy desk -- the rest of the messy office will have to wait.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have felt an itch to clean things out, get rid of stuff, and simplify. Maybe it's fall -- I'm shedding my leaves (or piles of paper).  Whatever it is, I'm taking advantage of the impulse.

  1. My urge to simplify is very strong, in pretty much all that I do. I actually associate this (for me) with long term maintenance, maybe just because those two things happened at same time.

    Loved the pics.

    1. I do feel like this clutter can get in the way of my self-care -- another reason to get rid of it.

The heart rate monitor fixing was actually a frugal thing -- I was toying with buying myself a new one, and I finally thought that it made more sense to fix the ones I had. Now my husband and I each have one we can use.
