Weigh-in January 7: Good news and bad news

I had a great week. I stayed in the green zone for the week, under calories on average for the week. I exercised a lot. I met or came close to my goals for fiber and hydration.

The scale didn't show it today. I weighed in at 185.4, actually higher than my starting weight. I weighed in yesterday at 184.2, so I really don't believe that I gained, I just seem to be on an up fluctuation today. Mondays are often my high day for the week, and my beginning weigh-in was on a Tuesday.

I have to say it's a little disappointing, even though I know that it shouldn't be. I am happy that I was able to keep it together last week. I just wanted to see that validation on the scale. I did get consolation prize, as my body fat percentage was down quite a bit. The red line on the chart below shows my weight over the last month, and the blue line shows my body fat. The program that creates these graphs uses a rolling average to smooth out  the ups and downs, and they both still show a general downward trend. I just have to keep up the good work, and eventually it will show on the scale.

  1. The important thing is all in your first paragraph. Keep up the good work.

  2. Everything looks good! Your weight will catch up!
