NaBloPoMo Day 20: Three Wishes

I an getting very sleepy but haven't blogged for today.

If you could have three wishes for you and you alone (with no "The Monkey's Paw" funny business), what would they be?

Mine would be:

1. To reach and maintain my goal weight through a healthy and enjoyable process and stay fit and healthy well into old age.

2. To get a "What Not to Wear"-style makeover.

3. To find a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in my life.


Yes, choosing #1 and #2 before #3 probably makes me shallow.

  1. Shallow? Naaah, not if those first two are what you are looking for before finding/figuring out #3. But maybe having some steps on that one would help with #1? I'll be happy to nominate you for #2 :)

  3. Well, number one always has been and always will be to wake up thin every day for the rest of my life. I remember as a high-schooler praying to wake up thin. So sad that I'm now 60 and still doing the same thing. Maybe it's not God's will for me to be thin? Hmmm.

    Number two would be to move to a warmer state (North Carolina would be perfect) and have enough land to continue gardening.

    Number three would be to have enough money to, every week, buy fresh flowers and to hire someone to clean my house. To me, those are ultimate luxuries.
