A new WW day one

Starting weight 179.8 (just relieved that it was not in the 180s at this point). Someone at the meeting made Lifetime today and another person was 40 pounds down. The meeting was OK. I had been to that one before and there are some good people in it, and no apparent crazies.

Coincidentally, the Lose For Good campaign started this week. I set a goal for 10 pounds down (and out of the 170s) by the end of the 7 weeks.

I feel a lot less crazy now that I am doing something to stop the downward (or upward) spiral. Now I just need to stick with it.

  1. I set my Lose for Good goal at 5 pounds. I tend to shy away from deadlines (so many pounds in so many weeks), but this one feels do-able. We can do it :)

Just think of how you'll feel in 7 weeks!

And I like what Carol said in your last post, about how we bring something new to our weight loss journey each time we rededicate ourselves to that path. Makes a lot of sense to me.

  2. and nothing is more inspiring IMO than their lose for GOOD campaign.

  3. Welcome back! Be proud that you've stopped this cycle and gotten back on track. I gained & lost many times between 2000 and 2009. You can do it!

  4. One thing about LFG: It's limited to $1 million in 7 weeks. A million pounds is not that many for all the Weight Watchers, especially if it's worldwide. Wish they had made the limit higher to where you felt like your own individual weight loss really could make a difference.
