"We can deny everything except that we have the possibility of being better."That sums up my feelings about my progress lately. I'm doing well and I'm happy with where I am, but I also know that I want to continue to improve. I was talking with a friend this morning at breakfast and realized that it was like talking with myself -- she was kind of getting down on herself and I was trying to gently suggest thinking of fitness as a process, just focusing on what small steps she could take each day instead of feeling bad not being at her goal. Good advice, huh?
One-hour Pilates Reformer class. Muscles a little sore and tired from yesterday.
. . . . .
One-hour Cardio/TRX class, private session with Diana to design program, another 40 minutes or so. Tired!
. . . . .
Ran 40 minutes in the park with some hills. Warmup/cooldown/stretch, 15 min. total. Evening walk in the park, 45 minutes. All felt good.
. . . . .
Fitness eval with Diana. Managed to get to Spinning class and felt great after 45 minutes of sweating.
. . . . .
Felt better so I got out for a half- hour walk in the park.
. . . . .
Felt miserable when I woke up--allergies? A cold? Took a rest day.
. . . . .
Ran half an hour in the park with Jesse.
And you are getting better!
ReplyDeleteYour workout schedule is to be envied! It sounds like you are doing great. I lose sight of that slow gradual process sometimes (especially when I start sliding backways!)
